Since we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at Adam's parent's house we didn't get to my house until 2 o'clock. My sister and I decided that we would wait for each other to open presents. We ate Christmas dinner with my family and then at 7 o'clock my sister came back home and we opened presents, again! I got a beach bike, a snuggie and a gift card to American Eagle. Christmas was so much fun, it's my favorite holiday. My dad even lit the fireplace without complaining! It's a miracle!

Christmas 2009
I love that Adam's parent's live in Pine Valley. I love the drive up there, and we get a white Christmas. For Christmas Eve, I hung out with my mom wrapping presents and making my dad watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Elf. When Adam got off work, he picked me up and we drove to Pine Valley around 8 0'clock. When we got there we read the Christmas story from the scriptures and hung out around the fire before we went to bed. On Christmas morning I woke up and it was 7:30! I have never slept that long on Christmas morning in my entire life! I woke Adam up, and then woke up the rest of the family! We put together our Lego's from our stockings and then when everyone was ready we opened our presents! I got a portable DVD player (no more boring Saturdays at work, HOORAY!) I also got some beautiful earrings, and a spa kit from Adam's mom. After we opened presents we ate breakfast. Adam's mom makes this delicious hot spice punch every year. It's my new favorite drink. We also had pancakes, and muffins. After breakfast we said goodbye to everyone and headed for La Verkin.

Thanksgiving 2009
For Thanksgiving, Adam and I went up to Pine Valley around 2 p.m. We visited with his family and helped set the tables. Everyone arrived around 5 o' clock for dinner, it was a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Adam's whole family gets together on Thanksgiving and it was so great! I had so much fun. Before dinner everyone stands up and says something they are thankful for. Adam said he was thankful for having me in his life, I thought that was so sweet. After a huge piece of turkey, and three slices of pie we decided to leave Pine Valley and go to Cedar City, where my family was celebrating Thanksgiving at my Aunt Kathy's. Even though I was stuffed I couldn't pass up eating Unc's rolls and Aunt Kathy's Thanksgiving dinner. I love Thanksgiving. By the time we got there, everyone was starting to leave. We hung out for a while talking to Aunt Kathy and Unc, and my family. I'm so grateful for family, and I have so many great people in my life.

Engaged!!
On November 8, 2009 Adam and I got engaged. The week before he proposed we were on our way to Las Vegas to play when he said to me, " Kenna, I can't keep a secret anymore. I have your ring." He had such a cute smile on his face, he looked so excited. I tried to get him to tell me where it was, and when he was going to pop the question. That part he wasn't giving up.
After church on November 8 we went up to Zion National Park. It was the perfect day. We decided to hike Angel's Landing. He made me hike all the way to the top before he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was so sweet. Our lives turned upside down that day.

After hiking back down to the car, we went to dinner at Zion Pizza and Pasta. It was a perfect day. I am so glad that I have Adam in my life. He is so much fun to be around, always so sweet, and so handsome!

My 21st Birthday
Before we left for California my mom and Adam took me to breakfast at the Egg and I. Adam also gave me the sweetest card, chocolate, balloons and some roses. I love him so much! I was going to miss him while I was in California!

When we first got to California we went straight to Angel Stadium to watch a baseball game. It was my first professional baseball game. It was so much fun! We ate a hot dog and watched a good game, and the Angel's won!

We stayed the the Paradise Pier Hotel in California. It was a fun and Disney themed Hotel, they had the best breakfast every morning. For my birthday I got to talk to Goofy, they gave us special buttons to wear in the park, and they gave us mickey shaped rice krispy treats with milk. My mom and I got to ride everything we wanted to at the park, we spent four days at Disneyland! Adam, Brinlee, Kimber and Kyle came down the last few days and did it all over again! We got to ride eveything we wanted to!

October 2009
In October we bought an annual pass to Zion since we are only about twenty minutes away. We hiked Emerald Pool's and Weeping rocks. They are both beautiful hikes, and the scenery was beautiful with all of the colorful leaves.

I love carving pumpkins, ever since I was kid my mom would crave my pumpkin into the shape of a kitty's face. It was always so cute, and i just loved it every year. Adam wouldn't let us carve our pumpkin into a cat this year, so it turned out the be a spider.

For Halloween Adam and I dressed up as Hugh Hefner and a bunny. We decided to go to Las Vegas and hang out on the strip. I wasn't sure if it was going to be fun, but we ended up having a blast!

We also dressed up our kitty like a chicken. He hated it, but we all got a good laugh.

The next day we went to the NHRA drag races. My family goes every year in April and October. We ate breakfast early that morning at the Cracked egg. Yum, raspberry stuffed french toast. The weather was awesome and it was fun to hang out with my family. My dad loves going and he knows everything about it. It's fun to go and cheer on Ashley and John Force and listen to all of the loud cars.
September 2009
In September we went to the Dixie Round up. My family goes every year and we always have a blast. It was really windy so we didn't stay very long.

On Labor Day weekend we went camping on Cedar Mountain with my family. The weather was perfect all weekend. My dad took us on a four-wheeler ride, he cooked us delicious camping food and we hung out with my family. My dad and I built a camp fire and we roasted marsh mellows and made smores. I bought Adam a Smokey Joe and a dutch oven and we can't wait to go camping as a married couple.

I think...
That I have the best Mom ever! She really is my best friend, and we hardly ever get mad at each other anymore. I'm not sure what happened, I think maybe it's because I'm growing up and leaving home in less than one whole month. My mom is beautiful, and I am glad that I look so much like her. She gives the greatest advice. I am always calling her up to ask her opinion about school, friends and finances. Lately, I've been calling her two or three times daily, asking her about cakes, flowers, rentals, favors, colors, invitations etc. She answers every single call. I know I take up a lot of her time but I appriciate her taking time out of her busy day to tell her about the latest wedding drama. My mom is so intelligent. I hope someday I will know as much as she does. My mom and I think so much alike, sometimes I swear we share the same brain. I'm going to miss living under the same roof as her, but we'll just continue to get in trouble for talking too much at work. I hope she has had a wonderful Mother's Day. I hope she knows how much I appriciate all she does for me, and how much I love her. She is an amazing woman, and she has taught me so much. I LOVE YOU MOM!
